Facilitator, Leadership and Staff Development

Location: Kanab, Utah
Position Summary: Best Friends is recruiting for an experienced Learning and Development Facilitator who will create and deliver learning content to on-site and remote employees. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Learning and Development, this role performs duties of developing materials with an emphasis on facilitating learning and development training programs for leaders and staff. Instructor-led and e-learning solutions are included. The role requires a passion for helping people learn and grow. The ideal candidate will possess dynamic interpersonal skills and should be able to connect and communicate with all levels of the organization. In this role, the primary objective is to enhance the organization's performance, productivity, and sustainability.

Responsibilities:
Implement organizational-wide training programs that align Best Friends staff development needs with organizational strategies with the highest level of effectiveness and impact
Be a team member in facilitating a Leadership Development Program
Keep informed of best-in-class and current trends in training and development and make recommendations to improve or better align offerings with the goals of the organization
Ability to coach managers and other staff
Leverage learning industry trends to foster greater efficiency and deliver innovation along with positive learning experiences
Seeks and incorporates feedback from internal stakeholders and builds organizational awareness of learning and development capabilities and capacities
Leverages data and evaluation findings to help inform training and development efforts
Position Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in adult learning, training/instructional design, communications or related field.
2+ years of experience managing, directing and monitoring performance of a team of direct reports
5+ years of experience in a corporate or non-profit learning capacity
Ability to coach managers through performance matters regarding staff; coaching certification is a plus.
Design and facilitation of e-learning, virtual, classroom and experiential courseware or delivery tactics for developing soft skills
Experience with learning measurement strategy, tactics, and training performance ROI is desirable
Competency in project management with the ability to handle multiple assignments
Strong communication skills (oral and written)
Understanding of employment law and HR world
Employee Relations experience/knowledge a plus
Knowledge of learning management systems preferred but not required
MS Office proficiency
Travel required 5-10%

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
